Polérik Rouvière is a French composer whose work explores the narrative power of music. For more than two decades, he has developed a singular body of work at the intersection of cinema, contemporary composition, and sound creation.

He first emerged in the early 2000s as co-founder of the label Ledge Music, gaining recognition with the electro-pop band Ledge, associated with the French Touch 2.0 scene and broadcast widely across European radio. At the same time, he pursued a parallel musical path in jazz with the Breakfirst Quartet, awarded the Grand Prize for Young Talent at the La Défense Jazz Festival.

This dual musical background—blending electronic textures and acoustic writing—gradually led him toward film composition, where music could become a narrative force rather than a simple accompaniment.

He initially composed for international advertising campaigns for brands such as Dior, Guerlain, Armani, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Orange, and Peugeot, before dedicating his work more fully to cinema and television.

His first feature film score, Falling From Earth by Chadi Zenedine (2008), was nominated for Best Original Score at the Dubai International Film Festival, chaired that year by Michael Cimino. This recognition marked the beginning of an ongoing relationship with film and visual storytelling.

In 2010, Rouvière founded Au Revoir Ma Belle Productions, an independent creative structure based in Paris, conceived as a space dedicated to musical creation for film and narrative works.

Alongside his film work, he also developed a more intimate musical project under the name Ulrich Forman, signing a collaboration deal with Barclay (Universal Music) and releasing several internationally acclaimed albums, including Chapter IV – Vulnerable.

Since 2017, Polérik Rouvière has composed music for numerous feature films and series across France and internationally. His recent works include Dalida by Lisa Azuelos, Silver Star by Lola Bessis & Ruben Amar (Les Films du Trésor), and McWalter (Amazon), directed by Simon Astier, as well as several upcoming productions for HBO and France Télévisions.

His scores have been selected for international festivals including Rotterdam and the Festival de la Fiction de La Rochelle.

His music is characterized by a deeply cinematic approach in which sound becomes a space for storytelling, emotion, and atmosphere.
